The Blue Wolf Shield II

This was my very first shield, and it was a gift to a friend.

The shield boss was previously posted here.
Measures about 60cm, and is covered with leather.

It is a single sheet of plywood of 10mm, because it is covered, so, i had not the necessity to cut on a lot of planks.

A tip for those who want cover the shields with animalskin and don't know where to find it, i recommend to search some drums shop. This hide was sold as if it was to a large drum.

Well, whatever.

The wolf designed is my creation, inspired by a lot of norse anymals designs and the head is very close to that you can find in an album of the great swedish metal band Manegarm.
